ALC technicians using Heat Induction Technology to remove 28mm acoustic tiles and adhesive off steel plates. We completed the exercise with laser ablation to remove any embedded material to take the backplate back to its SA2.5 surface ready for NDT inspection and re coating.
The results proved to be 12 times faster than conventional methods.
